our philosophy
Platypus Impact Housing Australia Limited (PIHA) is committed to providing support and assistance to people and communities with housing needs. PIHA will do this by operating independently and in conjunction with registered Affordable Housing Providers representing and supporting community services initially in NSW, ACT, QLD & VIC.
PIHA's primary objectives are:
To support homeownership to enable entry into the housing market through a variety of strategies that will help those unable to raise sufficient deposit and equity for their purchase;
To provide affordable retirement, including elderly living accommodation to low income and the disadvantaged facing the crisis in affordability of suitable housing; and
To enable Australians to provide adequately for retirement, addressing the financial problem of the poor and needy members of the community.
